SNACT State & Federal Programs

All public schools in Connecticut, and private nonprofit schools and residential child-care institutions may participate in the National School Breakfast Program. USDA regulations similar to the lunch program apply, and federal and state reimbursements are available. Some school districts that currently offer breakfast programs are Hartford, West Hartford, Branford, Bridgeport, Meriden, Bloomfield, New London, South Windsor, Stamford, Waterbury, New Britain.
