School Nutrition Pictures

 Bloomfield Schools & End Hunger CT! along M & R Foods, Thurston Foods, Market Dynamics, Cotton, Cotton & Hill, New England Dairy Council and Benchmark Sales provided a free breakfast to the entire JP Vincent Elementary School community on Friday August 31, 2007.  This event showcased the Breakfast program for Bloomfield Schools as a way to promote a great program that gets very little participation.

Here are few pictures from Highland School in Cheshire, CT's 1st grade snack day.  All 1st grade classes were invited down to the cafe for snacks (fresh cut up fruits, most locally grown, and 100% fruit juice).  It was our way of introducing the students to new fruits and to make their start to the school year more comfortable when coming for lunch.
